a frog with a bouffant

These illustrations are for a short educational narrative featuring frogs living in a polluted pond. I finished them only a couple of days ago.

It was important I make it easy to tell the characters apart, which is a bit tricky with frogs - they all look much alike. The solution... big hair and hats!

Strangely enough I don't think the bouffant looks too out of place on the mother frog. What do you think?

  1. I think the mama frog's bouffant is perfect! Good thinking with the "hair and hats" solution. It really works; they all have so much personality.

  2. She has the 60s housewife look with the pearls, so the bouffant fits. The frog with the fez is cool.
